Looking Forward: 2026 Wedding Trends We Already Love
We may be deep into the cold and dark of winter, but I love this time of year because it is so full of looking forward. If the end of the year is sentimental, the beginning of the year is energizing. As we start to build designs for our 2026 clients and see other designers anticipating their work, we wanted to share a little of what we are looking forward to creating this year in wedding design.

Chartreuse and Mulberry
We are loving seeing this color combination pop up more this year. Shades of green have been making a statement the past couple years, and the unexpected addition of the mulberry has found a way to make green even cooler. These colors paired together do a great job of balancing fun and elegance. Both colors lend themselves to unique shapes in floral, gorgeous textures in fabric, and bold patterns in stationery. At the same time, greenβs association with nature and mulberryβs dark tones keep the color scheme grounded.
Lace
Lace is back, everybody! When it comes to trends, nothing is ever truly new. Itβs all about taking what we already have and finding a new way to use it. Lace has been a staple of bridal ensembles as long as they have been around, but this year is taking it in a different direction than have seen in years past. The last time lace was big, it was used in lots of boho designs, emphasizing texture on texture. This year, lace is an accent piece, contrasting pops of texture with sleek materials. Weβre seeing satin gowns with lace gloves, fabric signage with lace trim, and lace integrated with color-blocked florals.
Personal Touches
More than ever, people want their weddings to feel like themselves and we are here for it. After all, your wedding day is a celebration of you, your relationship, and the start of a life you are building. It makes perfect sense to want the day to reflect all those things. Incorporating tradition in your wedding is beautiful in how it connects you to the people and customs that have come before you. Swapping tradition that doesnβt hold a strong meaning to your for something that feels entirely your own can also be a great way to celebrate. And thereβs no law against doing both! We love tried and tested details like signature cocktails as well as new trends like creating a Kahoot quiz for your guests. We even had a theatrical couple perform a play for their guests last year, and their people loved every minute of it. Your wedding day is a chance to play with celebration - have fun and make it yours.
We canβt wait to start working with these trends and plenty more to come. And the best part is, every time we design with a great color scheme, statement-making accents, or customized experiences, what we are really doing is taking part in a celebration of a new beginning. No question about it, that is always something weβll be looking forward to.
